Failing Support Posts
The wooden support posts in the basement were not designed for long-term support. Proactively addressing the issue, the homeowner contacted us to ensure the long-term safety and structural integrity of their home.

Footing for Floor Stabilization System
We began the project by removing the concrete where the SmartJacks would be installed. To further strengthen the new concrete being poured, we added rebar.

Concrete Footing
Concrete is then poured and leveled to create a sturdy bady for our SmartJack system.

SmartJack Base
Once the concrete footing has cured, the SmartJack base is placed on it within crushed stone, and the SmartJack post is then attached.

Supplemental Beam
A supplemental beam was installed to the joists. The SmartJacks are then mounted to the supplemental beam to provide strength and proper support.

Floor Stabilization Finished Installation
Other SmartJacks were installed directly to the joists and adjusted to provide superior support to the home. With strategic placement and our meticulous installation process, the floors above the basement are now permanently stabilized.
