Old Support Posts
Prior to starting work on the project, the homeowner had support posts that were unable to properly stabilize the home's floors, causing them to sag. This can be a very stressful situation for a homeowner, so we introduced a solution to not only stabilize the floors, but lift them to their original position.
Concrete Removal
The crew started work on the project by removing concrete from the basement floor where the SmartJacks were to be installed. The SmartJacks are installed in the foundation floor to provide superior support.
SmartJacks Reinforced in Concrete
The SmartJack plates are placed within concrete and rebar for reinforcement.
SmartJack Completed Installation
The posts are connected from the plates to the supporting main beams of the basement. SmartJack is an adjustable system, allowing for the floors to be raised over half an inch to return to the desired height. The floors are now properly supported long-term.
