Foundation Wall Cracks Due to Settlement
The homeowner could noticeably tell signs of settlement in the home. This included sticky doors and windows, as well as cracks in the foundation wall. This photo of cracks on the exterior of the foundation showcases how much the structural integrity of the foundation was compromised.
Exterior Foundation Excavation
Our crew started work on the project by removing soil around the home's foundation to allow for the push piers to be placed underneath the footing of the home.
Installing Push Piers
Push piers are driven down into the ground until they hit durable soil to support the home.
Push Pier Supporting Foundation
Once all the push piers are in place, brackets are attached to the footing of the foundation. They are then pressurized, pushed down into the earth, therefore lifting and supporting the foundation. With the structure now supported, we then applied a crack injection, preventing the crack from worsening.
Total Push Piers Installed
A total of 12 Push Piers were installed around the foundation of the home.
Foundation Backfill
After the push piers were successfully installed, the crew backfilled the soil that was previously removed. Our crews make it a priority to leave the job site as neat as possible.
