Foundation Problems Photo Album: Sunroom Supports were Sinking, Amherst, NH
A resident of Amherst, New Hampshire has been living in their home for 8 years. Around three years ago, they noticed that the floors in the sunroom at the back of their house started to slope. The issue became so severe that when they dropped a marble, it would roll toward one side of the room. The homeowner contacted EFS for a complimentary inspection of the sunroom supports. Our proficient Design Specialist, Jason Vachon, met with the homeowner and assessed the sunroom. Following the check-up, Jason suggested putting in 4 EZ posts underneath the sunroom to level the floors and provide support.
Our skilled Installation Team, headed by Edward N., began by exposing the sunken supports under the sunroom. After setting up temporary supports, the team removed the old supports. Next, they used a hydraulic drive head attached to an excavator to insert our EZ posts underneath the sunroom until they reached satisfactory pressure. To ensure that the floors of the sunroom were level, the team utilized a level throughout the installation.
Upon completion of the project, the homeowner expressed their satisfaction with the results.
