Foundation Problems Photo Album: Homeowner Worried About Sunroom Collapsing, Hooksett, NH
This homeowner in Hooksett, New Hampshire, had concerns with the structural integrity of their sunroom. The homeowner reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their second-floor sunroom/deck. Our Design Specialist inspected the sunroom and deck and recommended installing 4 Helical Piers and 4 EZ Posts to add support to the sunroom and deck.
Our installation team began by setting up temporary posts around the sunroom so they could remove the old supports. Next, the team removed the old supports and began using our hydraulic drive head to drive Helical Piers and EZ Posts where the old supports were located. The team drove down the piers to a predetermined pressure and then installed our porch bracket. Once the porch bracket was installed the team measured from the bracket up the bottom of the deck and cut a 6X6 Pressure Treated piece of wood to that exact length and installed it to the bracket and deck. The team repeated this process until all of the Helical Pier and EZ Posts were installed.
