Foundation Problems Photo Album: Sagging Floors, Wolfeboro, NH
This homeowner in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, had lived in their 1940s home for a couple of years. In August 2022 they noticed sagging in the floor between their kitchen and dining area. The floors had a bounce in them and they wanted to have them repaired. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist Jason recommended installing SmartJacks to the floor system to lift and level the floors. After Jason had explained the entire project, he noted that before our team could arrive and begin working the homeowners would have to remove all items that were in the way of accessing the floors in the kitchen/ dining area.
Our team arrived at the home and marked where each of the SmartJacks would be installed. The team removed some dirt so we could place our big footing under the floor system. We made sure the footings were level before we installed the SmartJacks to the supplemental beam under the floor system. Once the SJs and the supplemental beam were secured under the floors the team then used the adjustable brackets to lift up the floors system and level the floors in the kitchen and dining area.
