Before View - Wall and Siding Damage
Before view of the damage due to foundation settlement. The siding is buckling and cracking, and the wall is cracking and shifting in this section.
Before View - Settling Bump Out Section
This section of the home was a 10x10 bump out. The foundation here was installed at only a depth of 2 feet, and so was prone to the effects of freezing, heaving and settling. Once excavated, this section would be sprayed with a polymer foam for protection.
Before View - Settling Block Foundation
View of the corner of the failing foundation. The blocks here have shifted and are no longer in line due to settlement. Push Piers will be installed to permanently stabilize the foundation walls.
Push Piers Under Block Foundation
View of the push piers under one section of the block wall foundation.
Push Piers For Block Wall Foundation
View of the push piers installed under the corner section of the settling block wall foundation. With the piers in place, the wall is completely stabilized and will no longer be able to settle or shift.
Frost Protection For Foundation
A polymer foam was sprayed onto this bump-out section of the foundation to help protect it from heaving and settlement action brought on by freezing temperatures.
