Dunbarton, NH Local Concrete Repair Expert

Sunken and cracked concrete around your home is not only an eyesore, but is also a safety hazard. As time goes by, if the problem isn’t corrected, it will only get worse. However, you have no reason to fret when you have the professionals at Erickson Foundation Solutions doing the work. Our experts use PolyLevel®, a strong, and durable foam material to lift your concrete slabs back into place. We drill small holes into the slab where the foam is injected and expands, raising the concrete into place. Many other contractors will use a technique called mudjacking, but our method doesn’t disturb the area, takes less drying time, and is more affordable.

After repairing your concrete, consider a durable concrete sealant that extends the life of your slabs by 3 to 5 times overall in just one quick application. Our SealantPro concrete sealant bonds with concrete on a molecular level to protect slabs against oil, gasoline, water, debris, and more. Whether you have new slabs or existing slabs, SealantPro will work for you!

Radon Gas Mitigation Systems

Radon gas is colorless, odorless, and as cancer-causing as tobacco and asbestos. Radon gas is produced from the decaying of rocks and soil and comes up from the ground into your crawlspace and basements. The way our radon mitigation systems works in a pipe collects the gases that are coming from the soil. The gas is then piped upwards where a depressurization vent forces the radon out from your home. Our radon mitigation system is completely compatible with the current waterproofing system in your home. Get in contact with us now to learn how to protect your loved ones from the harmful effects of radon gas.

Job Stories From Dunbarton, NH
Crawl Space Waterproofing in Dunbarton, NH

At Erickson Foundation Solutions, we recently had the opportunity to assist a homeowner in Dunbarton, NH, who was facing a challenge with their crawl space. The space, primarily used for storage, was leaking water, which posed a significant issue as the homeowner was in the process of converting their home into a rental property. Understandably, ensuring a dry, safe environment for future tenants was a top priority.

After the homeowner reached out to our experienced Customer Care team, we scheduled an in-home inspection to thoroughly understand the issue at hand. Our System Design Specialist Victor Tapia visited the property, identifying the root of the problem and recommending a tailored solution. The strategy involved the installation of our innovative WaterGuard drainage system, the reliable TripleSafe Sump Pump, and an IceGuard discharge line system, designed to manage and expel water away from the property effectively, even in the coldest conditions. Our proficient production team, consisting of expert foreman Patrick Montine and skilled installers, carried out the job with precision and care. They installed the WaterGuard system at the perimeter of the crawlspace to intercept water, which was then directed to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. The pump efficiently removed the water from within, while IceGuard ensured protection against freezing, guaranteeing a consistent flow away from the home.

The transformation of the crawl space was remarkable, addressing the homeowner's immediate concerns by providing a durable, long-term solution to waterproofing issues. This not only ensured their future tenants would have a dry and safe storage area, but also signified peace of mind for the homeowner planning to convert their home into a reliable rental property.

Eliminating Basement Water Intrusion and Humidity in Dunbarton, NH

At Erickson Foundation Solutions, we recently had the privilege of assisting a homeowner in Dunbarton, NH, who was facing a bothersome challenge with their basement. This wasn’t just any homeowner—the advancing years had made it tough for him to be as mobile as he once was, and the emergence of a leaky basement, accompanied by a musty smell permeating the house, only added to his concerns. Understanding that keeping his house in top condition was vital, especially since it might be sold in the near future, he reached out to us, hoping we could help safeguard his home’s value and comfort.

Our motivated Customer Care Team swiftly arranged for a thorough inspection of his home. System Design Specialist Josh Phillips from our adept Sales Team then dove into diagnosing the issue at hand, outlining an efficient plan tailored just for him. It was decided that our team would install a combination of our most reliable solutions – WaterGuard, for unparalleled basement waterproofing; a TripleSafe Sump Pump, to effectively manage any water intrusion; IceGuard, to ensure the system operated smoothly even in the coldest conditions; and the SaniDry Sedona, to eliminate that troubling musty aroma and purify the air throughout his home. When our production team arrived, they embarked on the installation process with diligence and respect for the homeowner's property, ensuring that every component was perfectly in place for optimal performance.

The finished job was a beautifully dry basement, a comfortable home restored to its old glory, clearing any potential apprehensions regarding future sale conditions. This story narrates more than just our work—it highlights our mission to deliver not just effective solutions, but care, reassurance, and a bright outlook for our customers' homes and their futures.

Porch Roof Sagging, Dunbarton, NH

A homeowner in Dunbarton, New Hampshire, moved into their 1940s home about 8 years ago. When the homeowner moved into the home they noticed sagging in the roof of the porch, but a couple of years ago they have seen the issue get worse. This year they decided to call EFS for a free inspection, and our Design Specialist Victor inspected the front porch and recommended installing 7 Helical Piers with Porch Brackets to the roof to prevent it from sagging.

Our installation team began by setting up temporary supports next to the existing supports. Once the temporary posts were installed the team removed the old supports and began installing the new Helical Piers. Our team used a hydraulic drive head to drive the Helical Piers into the ground until we reached sufficient pressure. Once to pressure, the team cut the pier and installed our porch bracket, and extended a 6x6 from the porch bracket to under the roof. The team made sure the roof was level and at the roof was fully supported.

The homeowner was very pleased with the results of the project. They haven't seen their roof this straight since they purchased their home.

Garage Foundation Shifting and Cracking, Dunbarton, NH

A homeowner in Dunbarton, New Hampshire, has lived in their home for over 30 years but shortly after moving into their home they noticed their garage foundation shifting and cracking. Some years ago they had a pine tree fall on their home and that caused the settlement problem to accelerate. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist Victor examined the foundation of the garage. Victor recommended installing a new block foundation on the settling side of the garage.

Our masonry team began by exposing the foundation and removing the settling foundation wall and supporting it with temporary supports. Our team first poured a new footing for the masonry wall the team was going to install. After the footing was poured and cured, the team then began laying masonry blocks on top of the footing. The team laid blocks until they reached the bottom of the garage. After that, the team removed the temporary posts and backfilled the over the new masonry wall.

The homeowners were very pleased with the results of the projects the team was able to complete the masonry wall in only a couple of days.

Foundation Wall was Crumbling and Settling, Dunbarton, NH

A homeowner in Dunbarton, New Hampshire, had lived in their home for 30+ years. Since moving into their home they have always noticed settlement around the garage. They never thought much of the settlement until a few years ago a pine tree fell on their home. Since then they have seen the settlement on the corner of the garage accelerate and now they need a section of the foundation repaired. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist Victor inspected the home and its foundation and recommended rebuilding a section of the foundation wall and installing a new frost wall.

Our masonry team began by removing the settled and crumbled section of concrete. After the section was removed they then installed temporary supports and then began pouring a new footing for the masonry wall. The team had to wait until the concrete was cured to start laying the masonry block on the footing and start building up the foundation wall. The team built a 17' long masonry wall around the corner of the attached garage foundation. After the masonry wall was complete the team then sprayed the exterior wall with frost wall mitigation. With the frost wall installed the team removed the temporary supports and backfilled around the new masonry wall.

The homeowners were very pleased with the results of the project. For a substantial project, the crew only needed around 3 days to complete it. This new masonry wall and frost wall mitigation will add support and stability to the garage for years to come.

SmartJacks Installation, Dunbarton, NH

A homeowner in Dunbarton, New Hampshire, had concerns about the supports in their crawlspace. The home is owned by an older woman but her daughter is leading the charge to have the supports in the crawlspace fixed. The daughter will be inheriting the home at some point so she wanted the home to be in the best condition possible. Our design specialist Chris met with the mother and daughter and Chris examined the floors and the supports in the crawlspace. The supports in the crawlspace of this 1930s home were a mix of wooden posts and stacked cinder block columns. Chris recommended installing new supports that are set in the ground and secured to the beams above and a high-strength dehumidifier to manage the moisture in the crawlspace.

Our production team led by Ed N. first started by setting up temporary supports in the crawlspace so that when they remove the old supports the beams won't shift. After the team set up the temporary posts, they began prepping the bases for the posts. The team created flat footings where the base of the SmartJack will be set in. To make sure the footing is stable the team used engineered fill. Then the team sets the SmartJack over the fill and secures it to the beam above or to a Supplemental Beam. After the team installed all of the SmartJacks they then installed the SaniDry Sedona into the crawlspace to control the moisture in the basement.
