Concrete Repair & Leveling Contractor in Danvers, MA

Sunken and cracked concrete around your home is not only an eyesore but is also a safety hazard. As time goes by, if the problem isn’t corrected, it will only get worse. However, you have no reason to fret when you have the professionals at Erickson Foundation Supportworks doing the work. Our experts use PolyLevel®, a strong, and durable foam material to lift your concrete slabs back into place. We also offer a durable concrete sealant, SealantPro, which will extend the life of your slab by 3 to 5 times overall. In just one quick application, SealantPro bonds with concrete on a molecular level to protect against oil, gasoline, water, debris, and more! Plus, we offer DecoShield, a translucent tinted concrete sealer that adds a unique visual appeal to your home's concrete while preventing pitting, flaking, cracks, and other moisture-related issues. Eliminating Crawl Space Moisture in Danvers, MA

Recently in Danvers, MA, we encountered a homeowner facing a troublesome situation in their crawl space. Moisture was invading this critical area, despite an existing encapsulation system meant to keep it out. Even more concerning, parts of the crawl space had become a haven for mice—an issue no homeowner should have to endure.

After contacting our Customer Care team, the homeowner was scheduled for a thorough home inspection. One of our skilled System Design Specialists Debra Rayborn visited the home, diagnosing the root cause of the moisture problem and the inadequacy of the previous encapsulation system to effectively combat it. Our recommended solution was to install our premium CleanSpace and SaniDry Sedona systems. Our foreman Anthony LoCascio and installation team got to work, starting with the removal of the old, ineffective system. CleanSpace, a state-of-the-art encapsulation material, was meticulously installed along the crawl space's surfaces to create a moisture barrier unmatched by its predecessors. The SaniDry Sedona, a powerful yet energy-efficient dehumidifier, was then set up to take control of the crawl space's humidity, creating an environment where moisture could no longer prevail.

Once the job was completed, the transformation in the crawl space was undeniable. The moisture problem was effectively addressed, creating a dry, clean space beneath the home, and the risk of future pest intrusions substantially reduced. With our CleanSpace and SaniDry Sedona installations, the homeowner no longer has to worry about moisture and mice ruining their crawl space, reassuring them their home is now protected against these common but formidable adversaries.

Pool Deck Resurfacing in Danvers, MA

When a homeowner in Danvers, MA, noticed the concrete around their beloved pool area beginning to wear, they knew they had to act fast to preserve their favorite summer spot. Previously, they had turned to us for a PolyLevel solution to address uneven slabs around the pool. Familiar with the durability and effectiveness of our work, they reached out again, this time intrigued by the promise of DecoShield to not only enhance but also protect their outdoor oasis.

Upon contacting our friendly Customer Care team, an appointment was quickly scheduled for a comprehensive home inspection. We recommended the perfect combination of NexusPro and DecoShield—a duo known for its reliability and resilience against harsh weather, while seamlessly blending with the home's picturesque outdoor space. Waterproofing a Finished Basement in Danvers, MA

Recently, we had the pleasure of helping a homeowner from Danvers, MA, who was troubled by their finished basement. Every time there was a heavy rain or the snow started to melt, they'd find their basement turned into its own little pond. Understanding the peace of mind that comes with a dry and safe home, they reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions to find a fix to this unnerving problem.

Upon receiving their call, our Customer Care team promptly set an appointment for a home inspection. One of our experienced System Design Specialists, Kenneth Calabrese, then visited the home, carefully inspecting the situation to understand the problem fully. It didn't take long for Kenneth to diagnose the issue and recommend a customized solution involving three of our innovative products: WaterGuard, UltraSump System, and IceGuard. Our production team got to work, strategically installing the WaterGuard interior drainage system to efficiently catch wall and floor joint leaks. The UltraSump System was then put in place, prepared to kick into action during those overwhelming snow melts and rainfalls, ensuring the basement stays dry under all circumstances. IceGuard was added as the perfect accomplice against those freezing winter days, preventing potential blockages due to ice.

Once the installment was finished, our team made sure to leave the basement clean, acting as if the problem never existed there. Today, the homeowner enjoys invaluable peace of mind, knowing their basement is protected against the harshest weather, thanks to Erickson Foundation Solutions' commitment to providing a remarkable customer experience and durable, effective solutions.

Vertical Crack in Foundation Occasionally Leaking, Danvers, MA

A homeowner in Danvers, Massachusetts, has lived in the home for the past 30 years. They normally repair issues with their home when they pop up but this crack in their foundation wall has been around for a couple of years. The crack in the wall has started to occasionally leak so the homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist John inspected the crack and recommended sealing the crack with Flexispan.

Our installation team began by cleaning the crack so we could install our membrane over it to prevent any water from coming into the basement. After the membrane was set, the team used a jackhammer to make a small funnel in the slab/wall to allow water to pass through and flow under the home. After the concrete was chipped out, the team covered the membrane on the wall and then filled and poured new concrete to where we chipped out. Now any water that travels into that crack will be directed beneath the home installed or into the basement.

The homeowners were very pleased with the results of the project. The homeowners no longer have to worry about the crack leaking.

Water Entering Basement, Danvers, MA

A homeowner in Danvers, Massachusetts, had water coming into their basement for some time now. They have plans to finish their basement but the constant water entering the basement has been deterring them from starting the project. The homeowner determined they should fix the water issue before finishing the basement. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist recommended installing a full perimeter drainage system, BrightWall, and a SaniDry Sedona into the basement.

Our installation team began by chipping out concrete for our WaterGuard and a basin for our TripleSafe. The team chipped out the entire perimeter of the basement, which was 116'. Next, the team installed the TripleSafe and plumbed it outside where we installed an IceGuard and an exterior drainage line to carry water away from the home. The team then tested the pump and then began installing BrightWall on the foundation walls. The team installed the 116' of BrightWall before the WaterGuard so any water from the wall would enter the perimeter drainage system. After the team installed the BrightWall to the foundation wall, the team then installed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Next, the team performed a water test on the WaterGuard to make sure the water will enter the system and make its way to the TripleSafe in the corner of the basement. After the full system was tested, the team then mixed up some concrete and covered the WaterGuard and around the basin on the TripleSafe to finish up the project.

The homeowners were very happy with the results of the project and now were confident to start the process of finishing their basement.

Uneven Pool Deck, Danvers, MA

Philip V. of Danvers, MA has grandchildren that come around and swim in their pool. Over the past 5-10 years the homeowner has noticed the concrete deck around the pool has been sinking. Each year has been getting worse and worse. The homeowner is worried that their grandkids might trip and hurt themselves. The homeowner decided to call Erickson Foundation Solutions about a free inspection.

Design Specialist Kenny Calabrese came to the home and inspected the concrete deck. Kenny confirmed what the homeowner had been seeing over the past 5-10 years. Kenny proposed that EFS use PolyLevel to lift the parts of the pool deck that have sunk over the years.

Crew Lead Nick Melo and Installation Specialist Tyler Oslizlo arrived at the home and began injecting PolyLevel into the pool deck. The crew was able to lift the outside of the pool deck about 1" to eliminate the tripping hazard. Philip is relieved to have a safe pool area for the grandkids.
