Humid Crawl Space Lacking Support Posts
Prior to commencing the project, the crawl space was devoid of support posts and exhibited elevated humidity levels. Such excessive humidity can precipitate wood rot, thereby compromising the integrity of the joists. The absence of support posts to stabilize the floors above the crawl space posed a risk to the structural integrity of the home.

Support Post Base
Excavation was conducted around the designated areas for the installation of SmartJacks. Subsequently, the SmartJack post was affixed to the base to enhance strength and stability.

SmartJacks Installed to Supplemental Beam
A supplemental beam was installed perpendicular to the crawl space joists to more efficiently distribute the load supported by the SmartJacks. These SmartJacks are adjustable, ensuring that the floors remain stabilized even if the foundation settles in the future.

Support Post Backfill
After installation, the soil surrounding the SmartJacks is backfilled to secure them firmly in place.

Crawl Space Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed in the crawl space to mitigate humidity levels. This compact yet highly efficient dehumidifier enhances air quality, ensuring cleaner air is circulated throughout the home.

Dehumidifier Condensate Pump
Our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed with an integrated condensate pump. This feature automatically expels the water collected by the dehumidifier from the crawl space, ensuring a seamless and maintenance-free operation.

Crawl Space Water Removal
The condensate pump's tubing extends vertically and exits through the home's siding, automatically discharging water from the crawl space to the exterior.
