As shown in the photo, the sump pump's failure to remove water caused it to pool beneath the encapsulation system in the crawl space. Over time, this led to mold growth, resulting in musty odors that permeated the rest of the home.
New Crawl Space Sump Pump and Dehumidifier
We installed the Zoeller M53 Sump Pump and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to reliably remove water from the crawl space and alleviate humidity. By keeping the crawl space dry, cleaner air gets distributed throughout the home.
Discharge Line Exiting Home
Water is pumped out of the crawl space through a discharge line that runs through the home's siding to the exterior.
Preventing Frozen Discharge Lines
IceGuard is installed on the exterior portion of the discharge line, allowing water to flow even during freezing temperatures. This prevents ice from clogging the system and backing it up, ensuring the crawl space remains flood-free.
