Concrete Removal
Concrete along the perimeter of the crawl space was removed to allow space for the installation of our WaterGuard drainage system.
Crawl Space Drainage System
WaterGuard was then set in crushed stone. This system is designed to capture water along the perimeter of the foundation before it accesses the space. The combination of perimeter and surface drainage systems integrate seamlessly to deliver water to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
Crawl Space Drainage System Completed Install
Once the system is tested to ensure proper drainage, it is then concreted in place to provide a nice finish. The concrete is applied to grade level, keeping the foundation floor level.
Surface Drainage System
Our TrenchDrain surface drainage system was utilized to reroute water around the water heater.
Water Removal from Crawl Space
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system connects to the WaterGuard system and removes water from the home as water fills in its basin. This sump pump features a trio of pumps, including a primary, secondary, and battery-powered backup pump, ensuring that water can be removed from the home at all times. Water is pumped out through a discharge line, which extends from the TripleSafe to a safe location outside. The discharge line is buried to maintain the lawn's appeal.
