Wet Crawl Space
As seen in the photo, the crawl space was very humid and did not have the proper support posts to support the above floor. Without providing a long-term solution, this crawl space was at risk of mold growth, wood rot, and sagging floors.
Crawl Space Drainage Matting
Our crew installed drainage matting on the crawl space floor to prevent water from getting trapped underneath the liner. IT also adds an extra layer of protection beneath the liner and the ground to prevent rips and tears in the vapor barrier.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
CleanSpace was installed over the drainage matting, entirely encapsulating the crawl space. This keeps moisture out of the crawl space, effectively mitigating mold growth, wood rot, and pest activity.
Superior Support Posts
To address structural concerns, our crew installed two SmartJacks to stabilize the floor above the crawl space. Compared to Lally columns or other support posts, the SmartJack system offers superior support, and is also fully adjustable should the home settle over time.
