Wet Crawl Space
The crawl space flooding not only leaves utilities at risk of getting damaged, but moisture and humidity can lead to long term damage including mold growth, wood rot, and structural problems.
Vapor Barrier
CleanSpace is an encapsulation system that keeps moisture out of the crawl space. This vapor barrier is sealed tight, fostering a dry and healthy crawl space.
Sump Pump and Dehumidifier
Our TripleSafe Sump Pump system was installed to capture and remove water from the home. Sitting at the lowest point of the crawl space, water fills within its 2-foot basin. As water enters the basin, it is met by a trio of pumps that activate accordingly in relation to the amount of water it receives. This includes a battery-powered backup pump, which ensures full-time protection of water intrusion, even during power outages! Our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was then installed to provide cleaner air, partnering with CleanSpace to eliminate humidity.
Discharge Line
Water is removed from the home through a discharge line. IceGuard is installed to the exterior portion of the discharge line to prevent backups during frozen temperatures, further safeguarding the crawl space from flooding. A bubbler pot was installed to the end of the discharge line, facilitating a more efficient process for water to seep into the soil, rather than pooling on the lawn's surface. The discharge line is then buried to preserve the lawn's appeal.
