Foundation Crack
Water would seep through the crack in the crawl space, resulting in water pooling on the foundation floor. This set the stage for mold growth, as well as increased humidity.
Foundation Crack Sealing
FlexiSpan was installed to waterproof the crack. This three-part process begins with the application of a flexible sealant along the full length of the crack. Then, a strip of flexible and porous foam is installed over the crack. Finally, an impermeable membrane is adhered to the wall on both sides of the foam strip.
Perimeter Drainage System
Our WaterGuard perimeter drainage system was installed to the leaky wall. This system captures water before it is exposed to the crawl space and delivers it to the sump pump. The FlexiSpan system that was installed ties to the WaterGuard system should any leakage ever occur.
Sump Pump System
The UltraSump sump pump system removes water from the home as water enters its basin. Installed in the lowest part of the crawl space, water is funneled directly to it. This sump pump system also features a battery-powered backup pump, further safeguarding the crawl space from flooding.
