Old Crawl Space Sump Pump
The old sump pump in the crawl space was unable to remove water, putting the crawl space in jeopardy. Besides flooding, the lack of a lid further exposes the crawl space to moisture, which can foster mold growth, musty smells, and wood rot.
Wet Crawl Space
There was so much moisture in the crawl space that it caused the insulation to become waterlogged, eventually falling on the ground. Notice the mold that has formed in the insulation.
Crawl Space Encapsulation and Insulation
CleanSpace was installed to create a vapor barrier against the moist soil. By installing this layer between the home and the earth, the crawl space (and home) is safe from moisture. SilverGlo was also installed, offering R-12 insulation. Through the installation of these two products, the home becomes dry, with musty smells and cold floors instantly eliminated.
Crawl Space Sump Pump
Our SuperSump sump pump was installed in the crawl space to remove water from the home. This further protects the crawl space from facing water intrusion. The water is removed through a discharge line that stems to a downward sloping area away from the home, ensuring that it is no threat to return.
