Concrete Leveling Photo Album: Raising a Sunken Garage Slab, Fitchburg, MA
Our team had helped this homeowner in Fitchburg, MA complete some major foundation repairs over the course of several weeks. The foundation of the garage attached to their home had settled significantly, and we have lifted and stabilized the footings and walls of the garage structure with Push Piers and GeoLock wall anchors. The final phase of the project involved lifting and leveling the garage slab itself.
The concrete slab within the garage had settled up to 4 inches, leaving the floor they used for storage incredibly slanted and unsafe. Our production specialists layed out their pattern for injecting PolyLevel beneath the slab, and got to work drilling small dime sized holes through the slab. They then injected the polymer foam material methodically and carefully, allowing the concrete to lift up in a controlled manner. The voids beneath the garage floor were completely filled with our PolyLevel material, which meant the floor was not only lifted back up the 4 inches it had settled, but was also protected and stabilized against future settlement concerns.
With the floor level, and the foundation and concrete repairs now complete at this home, the owners finally had peace of mind that their property was safe and protected.
Garage Slab Lifting With PolyLevel
Once the PolyLevel injection process was complete, the slab successfully lifted the 4 inches it had settled, and was a safe place to walk for the homeowners once again.

Concrete Garage Floor Repairs
Our specialists had previously already stabilized the sinking foundation of the garage with helical piers and GeoLock wall anchors. The final phase involved lifting and leveling the concrete garage slab floor. After the concrete was lifted with PolyLevel, some of the cracks were sealed with NexusPro, as well as some universal concrete to fill and seal some sections which had crumbled.
