Concrete Leveling Photo Album: Garage Floor is Cracks from Driveway being Repaved, Manchester, NH
This homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire had some cracks in their garage. Recently, the homeowner had repaved their driveway and the garage cracks got worse. They contemplated pouring a new garage floor but the homeowners had just paid for the driveway to be redone. So they decided to seek a repair from a local company. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the garage. He found that some of the cracks were caused by the encroachment of the driveway when it was poured. Some of the other cracks in the garage were caused by some slight sinking. Michael recommended having PolyLevel installed to lift the sunken areas and then have all of the cracks sealed using NexusPro.
Crew Lead Nick Melo and his team, first started by drilling small portholes into the slab. Then they set up slab jacks near the mouth of the garage and injected PolyLevel into the portholes to fill any void underneath the slab. Finally, they poured new concrete for a section of concrete that became dislodged from the rest of the slab.
