Failing Sump Pump
The sump pump struggled to handle the volume of water seeping into the basement. Despite having an interior drainage system, water would still leak due to the sump pump backing up. To ensure the basement remained dry, a more reliable sump pump system was necessary to consistently remove unwanted water.

Failing Support Post
As shown in the photo, the support post has deteriorated to the point where it can no longer support the floors above the basement. This has compromised the structural integrity of the floors, as evidenced by the sagging main beam. A more durable and long-lasting solution was needed to restore stability to the home's floors.

Replacing Old Support Posts with SmartJacks
Our SmartJack system is a robust and adjustable floor stabilization solution. Its sturdy base is cemented into the foundation for enhanced support and securely fastened to the main beam. This setup supports the weight of the floors above, stabilizing and even lifting them to address sagging and bouncy floors. We strategically placed a total of four SmartJacks to ensure optimal floor stabilization.

Sump Pump System with Emergency Backup Pump
We upgraded the old sump pump to our TripleSafe Sump Pump system, which includes three pumps: a primary, a secondary, and an emergency battery-powered backup pump. This system ensures continuous protection against water ingress, even during power outages. The existing drainage system integrates seamlessly with the new sump pump basin, directing water into it. This powerful sump pump then efficiently removes the water from the basement.

Basement Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona XP is not your average dehumidifier. It's specifically engineered to eliminate high moisture levels in basements and crawl spaces, creating a more welcoming environment. By doing so, it prevents mold growth and wood rot, while promoting healthier air throughout the home.

Frozen Discharge Line Prevention
Water is removed through a discharge line, with the IceGuard system installed on the exterior of the home to ensure water flows freely even in freezing temperatures. This prevents the discharge line from backing up and causing the sump pump basin to flood, keeping the basement dry. The discharge line is then buried to maintain the aesthetic of the surrounding lawn.
