Failing Sump Pump
The old sump pump was unable to keep up with the amount of water entering the basement, leaving it vulnerable during heavy rains and storms. Sick of the cleanup process, the homeowner sought out a dependable and long-term solution.

Basement Floor Water Damage
Over time, water ingress caused the basement floor to become stained and damaged. If left unaddressed, this could have led to mold growth, wood rot, and compromised the structural integrity of the basement.

Basement Interior Drainage System
WaterGuard was installed along the interior perimeter of the basement to capture water before accessing the basement. The water collected is then distributed to the sump pump system to remove water from the home. To install this system, concrete is first chipped out. The WaterGuard system is then placed within crushed stone and flood tested to ensure proper drainage. The system is then concreted in place.

Basement Surface Drainage
TrenchDrain was utilized to reroute water around immovable utilities such as this sink. TrenchDrain seamlessly integrates with WaterGuard to create one flow of water to the sump pump's basin.

Basement Sump Pump and Dehumidifier
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system includes a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump to ensure continuous water removal, even during power outages. Water is pumped out of the home through a discharge line, with IceGuard installed on the exterior portion to prevent ice from clogging the line and causing basement flooding. Additionally, our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to control humidity, creating a healthier and more inviting space.
