Failing Sump Pump
The failing sump pump and awkwardly placed discharge line prevented the basement from staying dry. As a result, the homeowner resorted to putting all of their personal belongings on crates or shelves. Sick of manually removing water any time there were heavy rains or storms, the homeowner sought out a permanent and reliable solution to keep their basement dry.

Perimeter Drainage Chipping and Drainage Matting
The crew began the project by chipping out concrete along the perimeter of the basement to create space for our waterproofing systems. They then installed SmartPipe to efficiently route collected water to the sump pump's basin. To enhance water routing, Drainage Matting was placed over the SmartPipe.

Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard was installed alongside SmartPipe to capture water before it enters the basement space. This interior drainage system is discreet yet highly effective at keeping the basement dry. Once WaterGuard collects the water, it directs it to the sump pump for removal from the home.

Basement Surface Drainage
To accommodate immovable basement utilities, we use our TrenchDrain surface drainage system to maintain effective waterproofing. TrenchDrain integrates seamlessly with our WaterGuard system, creating a direct path for water to flow to the sump pump.

Reliable Sump Pump with Battery Backup
Our TripleSafe Sump Pump system includes a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-operated backup pump to ensure continuous water removal. These pumps activate as needed, effectively managing different levels of water influx, even during power outages!

Sump Pump Discharge Line
Water is expelled from the home via a discharge line. Once outside, IceGuard is installed to prevent clogs during harsh winters, providing additional protection against basement flooding.
