Finished Basement Mold and Water Damage
Water damage that occurred behind drywall led to mold growth overtime. After a severe basement flood, the drywall was cut, revealing the damage that had taken place. This unfortunate circumstance led the homeowner to look for a permanent solution that would keep the finished basement space dry.

Preparing for Basement Perimeter Drainage System
To start work on the project, our crew removed concrete from the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard was then installed atop crushed stone. WaterGuard collects water from surrounding wet soils before it is able to be exposed to the basement space. The water collected is then channeled to the sump pump system for removal from the home.

Basement Drainage System Completed Installation
After the system is flood tested to ensure proper drainage to the sump pump, WaterGuard is cemented in place. The cement is leveled to grade, making the WaterGuard system hardly noticeable once the concrete has dried.

Battery Backup Sump Pump
Our UltraSump Sump Pump was installed to provide constant allowance of water removal from the basement. As water from the WaterGuard system fills in the sump pump's basin, the UltraSump activates to pump water out of the home. With a battery backup system in place, we can guarantee water removal at all times, even during a power outage.

IceGuard
Water is removed from the home through a discharge line. IceGuard was installed to the discharge line to allow water to flow freely during freezing temperatures. This prevents the discharge line from clogging, backing up the system, and ultimately flooding the basement. With this added layer of protection, the homeowner has further peace of mind that their basement will stay dry at all times.
