Band-aid Fixes for Basement Leaks
Prior to our team coming out to the home, the homeowner attempted to stop water seepage in the basement by applying tape to where water would enter the basement space. Despite this temporary attempt, water still seeped through the cold joint. They knew they needed a permanent solution in order to protect their semi-finished space.
Basement Perimeter Chipping
The concrete floor along the perimeter of the basement was chipped out to allow space for our WaterGuard drainage system to be installed.
Basement Drainage System Installation
Our WaterGuard system collects water from surrounding wet soils before it is able to seep into the basement space. The water collected is then distributed to the sump pump to be removed from the home. We install our drainage system in crushed stone to allow for proper water flow, and then cement the system in place.
Reliable Sump Pump System
We installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump system to ensure that water is always able to be removed from the home. This is due to our three-pump system, featuring a primary, secondary, and battery backup pump. This system is designed to have pumps activate depending on various water levels, safeguarding the home at all times, even during power outages.
Preventing Frozen Discharge Lines
Water is removed from the home through a discharge line. IceGuard is installed to the discharge line to allow water to flow freely despite freezing temperatures, thus preventing backups and flooding. The discharge line is buried to preserve the aesthetics of the lawn.
