Broken Sump Pump
The broken sump pump left the basement prone to flooding. This is evident by the damaged foundation floors seen in the photo.
Drainage System Concrete Removal
Concrete along the perimeter of the basement was chipped out to allow space for our WaterGuard drainage system to be installed. Notice how wet the soil underneath the foundation is. This is a indication of a very high water table surrounding the home.
Drainage System Set in Stone
The WaterGuard perimeter drainage system collects water before being exposed to the basement and distributes it to the sump pump's basin. The system is set in stone to provide proper flow, as well as mitigate moisture surrounding the system.
Basement Drainage System Completed Installation
After the WaterGuard drainage system was set in place and flood tested, it was then concreted in place. Concrete was laid and leveled to grade, making the drainage system hardly noticeable.
Basement Surface Drainage
TrenchDrain was installed on the surface of the foundation floor to collect and distribute water around immovable utilities. This surface drainage solution connects seamlessly to WaterGuard, forming one path for water to be delivered to the sump pump system for removal.
Sump Pump System with Battery Backup Pump
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system includes three pumps to remove water from the basement, including a battery-operated backup pump. This is the perfect solution for these homeowners, as this sump pump can handle the heaviest of storms. If a storm was to cause a power outage, they are still protected thanks to the battery backup pump!
Basement Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to alleviate the concerns that come with basement moisture such as mold growth, wood rot, and musty odors. This dehumidifier has a condensate pump that drains directlyu into the sump pump, creating a hassle-free drainage process.
