Broken Sump Pump
The previous sump pump installed in the basement of the home stopped working. This left the basement prone to basement floods. At one point, the basement filled with 4' of water.
Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard was installed to the interior perimeter of the basement to collect water before being exposed to the space. The water that is collected is then distributed to the sump pump for removal from the home.
Basement Surface Drainage
WaterGuard was unable to installed behind this oil tank. No worries! We installed our TrenchDrain surface drainage system to reroute water around the oil tank. This system integrates seamlessly with our WaterGuard system, creating one drainage system that flows to the sump pump's basin.
Heavy Duty Sump Pump with Battery Backup
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system was installed to provide the utmost protection against water woes. As water fills in the sump pump's basin, it is met by a trio of pumps to ensure water is removed safely from the basement. This includes a battery-powered backup pump, which guarantees the basement is protected from leaks and floods at all times, even during a power outage!
Discharge Line with Freeze Prevention
The sump pump removes water from the basement through a discharge line. As the discharge reaches the exterior of the home, IceGuard is installed to allow water to flow freely despite freezing temperatures. This further safeguards the basement from flooding. The discharge line is positioned in a location that slopes away from the home, mitigating water from returning.
