Water entered the basement through the fieldstone foundation wall and floor, creating a wet and moldy space.
Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement to collect water before it is able to access the space. The water that is collected gets distributed to teh sump pump to be pumped safely out of the home.
Basement Surface Drainage
Where areas of WaterGuard cannot be installed, such as around immovable basement utilities, TrenchDrain is utilized. TrenchDrain seamlessly connects to the WaterGuard system to reroute water.
Basement Vapor Barrier
To address the leaky fieldstone foundation walls, we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This prevents moisture by draining directly into the WaterGuard system. As a result, humidity, wood rot, and musty odors are eliminated.
Basement Sump Pump and Dehumidifier
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system removes water from the basement with its three-pump system. this includes a primary, secondary, and battery-operated backup pump. Water distributed into the sump pump's basin from the WaterGuard system can be removed at all times, even during power outages! This pump offers the ultimate peace of mind that your basement will always stay dry. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to further decrease humidity, offering a pleasant living space for those who use it.
Discharge Line with Freeze Prevention
Water exits the home through a discharge line. IceGuard is installed to the discharge line to prevent water from freezing in the line, and therefore not backing up the system. This is yet another way our systems provide homeowners with assurance that the basement space will always stay dry!
