Existing Sump Pump
The existing sump pump functioned, however, due to the high water table surrounding the home, a more comprehensive system was needed.
Layout for Drainage System
Our crew started work on the project by removing concrete along the perimeter of the garage. This allows for WaterGuard to be installed. WaterGuard collects water before it enters the garage space and filters it to the sump pump. It rests on crushed stone to ensure proper drainage.
Feed Line
A feed line was installed to efficiently deliver water to the sump pump. The feed line integrates seamlessly with the WaterGuard system.
Drainage System Tied into Sump Pump
The drainage system drains directly into the sump pump's basin. As water fills in the basin, the pump activates to remove water from the garage.
WaterGuard Cemented
After the system is tested, the drainage system is cemented in place.
Feed Line Cemented
Our crews lay concrete at grade level, ensuring a seamless finish.
Sump Pump Cemented
With the system now installed, water intrusion near the back wall will no longer plague the garage. Now, water is safely collected and then distributed to the sump pump, finally being removed from the home.
Waterproofing Cracks
FlexiSpan was installed to a crack in the garage foundation wall. This system prevents water from seeping through the wall. A crack monitor was placed above the crack to measure any future changes.
