Foundation Wall Seepage
Water seeped through foundation walls, creating efflorescence and a nagging cleanup process. In order to create a finished basement space, a comprehensive waterproofing solution was needed.
Basement Vapor Barrier
Our CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed to the foundation walls to prevent moisture from accessing the basement. This greatly reduces humidity and channels any water directly into the WaterGuard system before accessing the basement space.
Interior Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement to intercept water before it seeps into the basement space. The water that is collected is channeled to the sump pump system for removal from the home.
Surface Drainage System
This unique basement had areas without a concrete slab. To ensure the area designed to be finished was fully protected from water intrusion, our crew installed our TrenchDrain surface drainage system. This system connects to WaterGuard, creating one drainage system.
Basement Entrance Waterproofing
TrenchDrain is also utilized to collect water at the basement entrance since this is not a feasible location for WaterGuard.
Sump Pump System with Battery Backup
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system ensures that water is able to be pumped out of the home at all times, even during power outages! With its three-pump system, increased water levels in times such as heavy rains or snowmelt are no match for our dependable sump pump!
Discharge Line Freeze Prevention
Water is removed from the home through a discharge line. As the discharge line reaches the outer portion of the home, IceGuard is installed. This system prevents water from freezing up the line, therefore avoiding backups and basement flooding.
Discharge Line Bubbler Pot
The discharge line is placed in a location where water will not return to the home. At the end of the discharge line, a bubbler pot is installed to more efficiently have the water absorb into the soil, rather than pool on the lawn's surface. Lastly, the discharge line is buried, preserving the home's curb appeal.
