Cold Joint Water Seepage
As seen in the photo, water seepage occurred through cold joints in the basement, making the basement more vulnerable to mold growth.
Basement Vapor Barrier
CleanSpace was installed to the foundation wall to block out moisture and channel it to the WaterGuard drainage system. WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement and intercepts water before being able to access the basement. The water is then channeled to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
Surface Drainage
TrenchDrain is a surface drainage system that allows water to be rerouted around immovable objects such as this oil tank. This system connects to WaterGuard, creating one path of water towards the sump pump.
Drainage System Concrete Finish
Once the drainage system is installed, it is concreted into place. Our installation crew concretes to grade, creating a nice even basement floor surface.
Drainage System Tied into Sump Pump
Our WaterGuard drainage system has the versatility to tie into a vast majority of sump pumps. Once WaterGuard delivers water to this sump pump's basin, it removes water from the home. Although this sump pump is properly operating, a drainage system and encapsulation had to be installed to ensure that the basement would constantly stay dry.
Floor Stabilization
With the structural integrity of the home also a concern, we installed 4 SmartJacks to stabilize the floor above the basement. These fully adjustable support posts are cemented into the foundation, providing even more protection against sagging floors.
