Leaky Basement Cold Joints
As you can see in the photo, water intrusion would occur through leaky cold joints, exposing the basement to water. There is also evidence of a foundation wall crack contributing to the basement leakage.
Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard was installed along the interior perimeter of the basement. This system collects water before being able to enter the basement and delivers it to the sump pump system. WaterGuard is then concreted at grade level, making the system barely noticeable.
Foundation Wall Crack Repair
FlexiSpan is installed to the foundation wall crack. This waterproofs the crack while also adding a layer of support to the structure. If any seepage were to occur, FlexiSpan channels water into the WaterGuard drainage system.
Sump Pump with Battery Backup
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system is composed of three pumps to ensure water is able to be removed at all times, even during power outages! As water is filtered to the sump pump's basin, the pumps activate accordingly to rid water from the home. A second pump will assist the primary pump in times of heavy rains, snowmelt, and high water tables in general. Our battery-operated backup pump further gives homeowners peace of mind that water removal will occur when the home does not have power.
Discharge Line with Freeze Prevention and Effective Draining
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system pumps water out of the home through a discharge line. This pipe stems from the pump and extends to a safe location on the exterior of the home. IceGuard is installed to the discharge line to eliminate the possibility of backing up due to freezing, further ensuring the basement won't flood. A bubbler pot was also installed to the end of the discharge line to prevent water from accumulating on the surface. The system is then buried for an aesthetically pleasing look.
