Basement Drywall Cutting
In order to install our perimeter drainage system, our crew started work on the project by removing the lower half of drywall in the basement.
Basement Perimeter Trenching
Concrete was then removed along the perimeter of the basement for the WaterGuard System to be installed.
Basement Perimeter Drainage System
WaterGuard was installed within crushed stone to capture water before being able to enter the basement, and then channeled to the sump pump. After this system is tested for proper flow, it is cemented to grade.
Sump Pump System
The TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed at the lowest point of the basement. This allows water to flow downward into its basin. As water enters the basin, a trio of pumps work in tandem to remove water from the home around the clock, even during power outages thanks to the battery-operated backup pump. This gives the homeowner peace of mind that even during the heaviest of rains, their basement will remain dry.
Discharge Line Freeze Prevention
Water exits the home through a discharge line. The discharge line runs from the sump pump to a safe location away from the home. As the discharge line reaches the exterior of the home, IceGuard is installed. This system allows water to flow freely despite freezing temperatures, preventing water backups and thus, basement floods.
Bubbler Pot and Discharge Line Burial
A bubbler pot is installed to the end of the discharge line to effectively have water absorb into the soil, rather than puddle on the lawn's surface. Once this is installed, our production crew buries the discharge line, all while preserving the lawn's curb appeal.
