Perimeter Drainage System
WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement where the foundation wall meets the floor. We removed the drywall to install the waterproofing system. This system is designed to capture water before it is accessible to the basement, and filter it to the sump pump.
Surface Drainage System
Since WaterGuard cannot be installed in this location to protect against potential leaks coming in through the bulkhead, TrenchDrain was installed to collect water on the surface of the basement floor. TrenchDrain connects to WaterGuard, forming one drainage system.
Basement Drainage System Tied into Sump Pump
The WaterGuard system disposes water into the sump pump's basin. As water fills in the basin, the sump pump activates and removes water out of the home.
