Foundation Wall and Floor Seepage
Water entered the basement through both the foundation floor and wall. This created a moldy space, unfit for the finished basement these homeowners desired.
Laying the Foundation for Interior Basement Drainage System
Our production crew started work on the project by removing concrete where WaterGuard is designed to be installed. They placed an emphasis on maintaining a clean workspace throughout this process by covering personal belongings in plastic, as it can become a dusty process.
Basement Wall Encapsulation System
Our CleanSpace wall encapsulation system was then installed to the leaky foundation walls. This prevents moisture and mold growth, while also adding a form of insulation. Any moisture collected by the CleanSpace system directly drains into the WaterGuard system.
WaterGuard Basement Perimeter Drainage System
WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the foundation. This system collects water before it becomes accessible to the basement, keeping the space constantly dry. The water that is collected by the drainage system is directed towards the sump pump.
Drainage System Concreted Finish
After the WaterGuard system is tested to ensure proper flow, the system is then concreted in place. Our production team lays concrete to grade, ensuring a nice even finish.
Sump Pump with Battery Backup
The TripleSafe Sump pump system is composed of three pumps, featuring a primary, secondary, and battery-operated backup pump. As water fills the sump pump's basin, the trio of pumps activate accordingly to ensure that water is able to be removed from the home at all times.
Frozen Discharge Line Prevention
Water exits the home through a discharge line. IceGuard is installed to the exterior portion of the discharge line to allow water to flow freely despite freezing temperatures. With the possibility of a backup and basement flood eliminated, the homeowner has even more peace of mind.
Bubbler Pot
A bubbler pot is installed to the end of the discharge line to effectively release water into the soil. This prevents water from accumulating on the lawn's surface and creating a soggy spot in the yard.
