Old Sump Pump
The previous sump pump that was installed was unable to capture water, leaving the basement exposed to water.
Filling Old Sump Pump Basin
Once we removed the old sump pump, we filled the basin in with concrete. This prevents water from filling in that basin and flowing into the basement.
Basement Perimeter Chipping
To allow space for our waterproofing systems, we chipped out concrete along the perimeter of the basement wall. A new basin was created to allow the TripleSafe sump pump to rest properly below the foundation floor, ensuring a downward flow of water so it can be pumped out of the home.
Basement Waterproofing System Installed
WaterGuard was installed along the foundation wall, collecting water before it becomes exposed to the basement. WaterGuard then delivers the water collected to the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe consists of three pumps, including a battery-operated backup pump. This trio of pumps ensures that water is always capable of removing water from the home, even during power outages.
Safe Removal of Water From Basement
The TripleSafe pumps water out of the home through a discharge line. As the discharge line reaches the exterior of the home, IceGuard is installed. IceGuard prevents the system from freezing, thereby further assuring the basement stays dry. A bubbler pot was installed to the end of the discharge line, which stops water from pooling on the lawn's surface.
