Drainage System Installation
WaterGuard has been installed around the perimeter of the affected areas in both the garage and basement. It collects water along the foundation, preventing it from entering the interior space. This water is subsequently directed to the sump pump basin.
Surface Drainage System Installed
TrenchDrain was installed at the entrances to the basement and the garage. On these flat surfaces, where WaterGuard cannot be installed, a surface drainage system is more practical. TrenchDrain connects to WaterGuard, creating a unified channel for water to flow towards the sump pump.
Sump Pump Installation
When water enters the TripleSafe's basin from the WaterGuard system, a pump is triggered to expel water from the home. During heavy rains, when water accumulates more rapidly, a second pump turns on to control the water levels. Additionally, the TripleSafe sump pump includes a battery-operated emergency pump, guaranteeing water removal from the home even if there's a power outage.
Discharge Line Burial
Water is expelled from the home via a discharge line. An IceGuard system has been attached to the line to prevent freezing, thus further mitigating the risk of basement flooding. The discharge line is subsequently buried beneath the ground to maintain the lawn's aesthetic.
