Old Sump Pump
The previous sump pump could not manage the water volume around the foundation, leading to leaks in the basement. Additionally, the absence of a lid on the basin made the basement prone to higher humidity, exposure to mold, and blockages in the sump basin.
Basement Leaks Creating Mold Growth
Persistent basement leaks have resulted in mold growth, thus creating an unhealthy environment in the area.
Basement Perimeter Drainage System
The concrete around the foundation's perimeter was removed to make room for the installation of WaterGuard. This system collects water before it reaches the basement and directs it to the sump pump.
Finished WaterGuard Installation
Once the system has been tested to confirm proper flow to the sump basin, the WaterGuard system is then cemented into position.
Basement Surface Drainage
TrenchDrain was installed along the foundation's surface to collect water. It serves as a solution in areas where WaterGuard installation was not possible due to immovable obstacles, such as this oil tank. TrenchDrain connects with WaterGuard, creating a unified channel that directs water to the sump pump.
Basement Entrance Drainage
Our TrenchDrain system was installed at the entrance of the basement, directly in front of the doorway.
New Sump Pump
We installed our UltraSump sump pump to replace the failing sump pump. The UltraSump connects to the drainage system and pumps water out of the home through a discharge line as water fills in the basin. The battery-powered backup pump ensures continuous removal of water, even during power outages.
