Wet Basement
Prior to the installation of our waterproofing services, the basement suffered from leaks, rendering it unsuitable for tenants.
Old Sump Pump
The sump pump previously installed in the home failed to capture all the water infiltrating through the foundation.
Installing WaterGuard Basement Perimeter Drainage
Our installation crew chipped out concrete along the perimeter of the foundation to allow space to install WaterGuard.
Collecting Water Before Exposure to the Basement
WaterGuard collects water before it reaches the basement and directs it to the sump pump system.
TrenchDrain Basement Surface Drainage
The TrenchDrain system has been installed at the basement entrance to prevent water from seeping through the doorway.
Basement Perimeter Drainage System Connected to Sump Pump
The perimeter drainage system is linked to the sump pump. Water from the drainage system flows into the sump basin. When water accumulates in the sump basin, the sump pump system is triggered to remove water from the basement. Our TripleSafe sump pump features three pumps, one of which is a battery-operated backup pump, ensuring homeowners that water will be consistently evacuated from their home. After installation, these systems are rigorously tested and then permanently cemented in place.
Exterior Discharge Line with Freeze Prevention
To facilitate water egress from the basement, a discharge line is connected from the TripleSafe sump pump to a secure location outside the home. Additionally, IceGuard is attached to the discharge line's exterior to ensure that water does not freeze within the pipes, thereby averting any backup of the system and subsequent flooding of the basement.
Discharge Line Burial
The discharge line has been buried to maintain the lawn's appearance. At the end of the discharge line, a bubbler pot is installed to avoid water accumulation on the surface of the lawn.
