Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Storage Protection in Salem, NH
A homeowner in Salem, New Hampshire experienced leaks in their foundation often. The sump pump that they already had installed was unable to keep up with the water surrounding the home. This caused concern, as they used the basement for storage space. Looking to protect their personal belongings, they reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our Design Specialist, Debra, Rayborn, recommended installing WaterGuard perimeter drainage, TrenchDrain surface drainage, and UltraSump sump pump to fully waterproof the basement. This system replaced the previous sump pump and allows for water to be captured along the entire perimeter of the basement. Water is then delivered to the sump pump, where it is safely removed from the home through a discharge line.

Basement French Drain
WaterGuard captures water along the perimeter of the basement and delivers it to the sump pump.
Surface Drainage
TrenchDrain is used to reroute water around the oil tank. It is connected to the WaterGuard system to continue the flow of water to the sump pump.
Sump Pump Installation
When water enters the sump basin, it is pumped out of the home through an exterior discharge line. The water is deposited in a safe location away from the home.
