She had the wet basement problem for 3 years, but eventually reached the point where she was tired of having to mop up the water after every big rainstorm. A previous contractor had recommended a French drain to help mitigate the water from the exterior of the foundation wall. However, this ultimately did not work, and her basement continued to flood. WaterGuard Perimeter Drain

The WaterGuard channels were installed along the entire perimeter to capture water entering the basement. These channels all flow toward the low point, which is the sump pump basin. Both the sump pump system and perimeter drains will have new concrete installed over and around them to complete the system.

Vapor Barrier Wall Cover

The CleanSpace wall encapsulation was needed for this basement wall, as moisture was seeping through here from the outside. This vapor barrier ties directly into the perimeter WaterGuard at the base of the wall.

TripleSafe Sump Pump System

The TripleSafe system is complete with a battery backup and alarm system. The SaniDry dehumidifier has a direct feedline into the sump pump basin and will help control the moisture levels in the basement.

Water Discharge Line

As the water from the basement is pumped outside, it filters through our patented IceGuard system (seen on the wall), which prevents ice build-up and flooding during the colder months. It then enters a Lawnscape well to help prevent the yard from becoming too wet.
