A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, had been living in their home for 30 years and had experienced occasional water seepage in their basement. However, this summer, the basement was completely flooded, causing damage to the finished portion of the basement. The homeowner contacted EFS for a free basement inspection, and our Design Specialist Victor Tapia recommended a full-perimeter drainage system to prevent future water intrusion. The system included WaterGuard, Trench Drain, TripleSafe, IceGuards, Exterior Discharge Line, and membership in the Erickson Care Club.
Our installation team led by Anthony LoCascio chipped out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installed the WaterGuard, Trench Drain, and TripleSafe to collect and pump out any water. The team also installed IceGuards and an exterior drainage system to ensure that water is directed away from the home. The team poured concrete over the drainage system to secure it in place, allowing the homeowner to re-install the finished walls.
The homeowner was satisfied with the results and signed up for the Erickson Care Club, which offers annual service to ensure the system continues to function properly.
