Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Collecting on Warehouse Floor, Rowley, MA
The owner of a warehouse in Rowley, Massachusetts, has owned the building since 1979 and over the last 7 years, they have seen water collecting on the warehouse floor. One time the water covered nearly half of the warehouse floor. They would like to find a solution to prevent this from happening again. They reached out to EFS for an inspection of their warehouse. Our Design Specialist Josh Bartholomew met with the homeowner and inspected the warehouse to find a solution to prevent water from entering the warehouse. Josh inspected the warehouse and recommended installing some perimeter drainage and a sump pump to collect water that threatened to enter the basement.
Our Installation Team led by Anthony LoCascio began by chipping out 20 feet of concrete on the back wall of the warehouse. This wall was the low point and was the wall that the water would start to collect in. After the concrete was chipped and the debris was removed, the team then installed the WaterGuard and the SuperSump on the back wall. Next, the team plumbed the SuperSump out to the back of the building and installed an IceGuard and EDL to carry water away from the foundation. After the drainage was installed the team returned into the warehouse to pour concrete over the WaterGuard and around the SuperSump.
