Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Entering Basement, Farmington, NH
A homeowner in Farmington, New Hampshire has used this property as their second home for the past 25 years. About 5 or 6 years ago the homeowner noticed water entering their basement and every year water entered the basement more frequently. The homeowners have become tired of cleaning up the basement after every rainstorm also they reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist Anthony Bracato met with the homeowner and inspected the basement to find a solution to the water issue. Anthony recommended installing a perimeter drainage system into the basement to collect any water from the basement and send it back outside the home.
Our Installation Team led by Gunther Billhardt started the project by chipping out the concrete along the perimeter of the basement. We installed 50' of WaterGuard and 16' of Trench Drain to the perimeter of the basement to collect any water from the floor or below the slab. The perimeter drainage will then guide water to our TripleSafe which will collect all the water inside its basement and then push the water outside and away from the foundation. To do this we installed 2 IceGuards and a 20' Exterior Drainage Line to carry the water away. After the drainage was installed on the outside we returned to the inside of the basement to mix up concrete and pour it over the WaterGuard, Trench Drain, and around the basin of the TripleSafe.
