A homeowner in Rye, New Hampshire, has lived in this home for most of their life. They bought the house from their parents back in 2015. Since purchasing the house from their parents, they have seen one of the two sump pumps in their basement fail and a small amount of water collects on the floor. To make sure the basement stays dry for the foreseeable future the homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist Jason Vachon met with the homeowner and recommended replacing the existing sump pumps with two new SuperSumps.
Our Installation Team led by Branden Edwards began by removing the old sump pumps in the basement. Once removed the team began to chip out concrete where the old sump pump was located to install the bigger and better SuperSump. After enough dirt and concrete were removed from the old sump pits the team then installed the basins for the pumps. Next, the team began to plumb the sump pumps to the exterior of the home where we installed our drainage line to allow the water to be carried away from the foundation of the home. After both of the SuperSumps were plumbed to the exterior of the home the team then mixed up concrete and poured the concrete around the base of the sump pump to lock it into place.
The homeowners were very pleased with the installation of the two SuperSumps into their basement.
