Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Was Dry Until Recently, Barrington, NH
A resident of Barrington, New Hampshire, has resided in their home for more than two decades. Since 2010, the homeowner has observed water seeping into their basement and hired a company to install a sump pump to address the issue. The sump pump had successfully kept water out of the basement for 12 years until this year when water reappeared. To address the issue, the homeowner contacted EFS for a free basement inspection. EFS Design Specialist, Tom Armano, inspected the basement and recommended the installation of a 24' Feed Line to run through the center of the basement, a WaterGuard Port to create an access point for system cleaning, and an IceGuard to the existing drainage line to prevent basement flooding. To install the Feed Line, the EFS Installation Team, led by Dillon Kingsbury, chipped out some concrete before covering it with concrete to match the rest of the basement slab. The team also added an IceGuard to the drainage line of the sump pump to prevent water from re-entering the basement due to a clogged discharge line. The homeowner was pleased with the outcome, knowing that their basement will remain dry.

The Feed Line will stretch 24' across the basement.

The Feed Line extends all of the way to the other side of the basement where we installed a WaterGuard Port to this end for easy cleanout.
