Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Homeowner Doesn't Want Water or Mold in the Basement, Winchester, MA
A homeowner in Winchester, Massachusetts, lives in a home that was built in the early 1900s. Since owning the home for the past 4 years they have seen water in the basement only a few times but cleaning up after the water was becoming a hassle that the homeowners didn't want to do anymore. The homeowners decided to call EFS because of their concerns with the water entering their basement and the potential threat of mold. Our Design Specialist Keith visited with the homeowner and inspected the basement and recommended installing a TripleSafe, WaterGuard, and a SaniDry to protect the basement from water and mold.
Our installation team began by chipping out concrete so we can install the WaterGuard and TripleSafe to collect any water from entering the basement. After the system was installed the team then mixed concrete and poured a layer over the WaterGuard and around the TripleSafe. Once the concrete cured the team then set up the SaniDry near the TripleSafe so it could discharge into the basin.
Old Sump Pit
The home had an old sump pump that was inside this pit.
WaterGuard Installed
The team installed 70' of WaterGuard into the basement.
TripleSafe Installed
The sump was connected with the WaterGuard and plumbed to the exterior of the home.
