Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Entering Basement Through Bulkhead, Tyngsboro, MA
A homeowner in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for the past 7 years. After living in the home for a year, they noticed water entering their basement through the bulkhead. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement and our Design Specialist Isaac recommended installing WaterGuard, TrenchDrain, and replacing their current sump pump with a TripleSafe.
Our team began by chipping out a 6" trench around the entire perimeter of the basement. This trench will be used to hold our WaterGuard and TrenchDrain so we can collect any water that attempts to enter the basement. The team also removed the old sump pump and then made the basin bigger for our bigger and more powerful TripleSafe. Once the TripleSafe was installed into the bigger basin the team then plumbed the system to the exterior of the home where we installed an IceGuard and an Exterior Drainage Line. After the system was plumbed, the team then installed the WaterGuard and TrenchDrain and then encapsulated the system and sump pump with concrete to secure it in place.
