Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Upgrading Waterproofing System, Acton, MA
This homeowner in Acton, Massachusetts, has concerns about their sump pump starting to fail and allowing water into their basement more frequently. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist Liam inspected the home and recommended upgrading the waterproofing system in their basement. Liam recommended installing perimeter drainage, a bigger better sump pump, a dehumidifier, wall encapsulation, and upgrading floor supports.
Our Installation Team began by chipping out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement so we could install the sump pump and perimeter drainage. Once the concrete was chipped out, the team installed the CleanSpace all the way down into the trench that we chipped out. Then we installed the TripleSafe and the WaterGuard and made sure to connect all three systems to make sure water from the wall enters the WaterGuard and is directed into the TripleSafe and pumped out of the basement. After the team mixed concrete to encase the system so it won't move. Nex the team removed 5 of the old supports in the basement and installed 5 new SmartJacks to support the floor system of the home.
