Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Flooding into Bedroom in Basement, Salisbury, MA
A homeowner in Salisbury, Massachusetts, had water entering their basement. The water was coming up from the floor into their daughter's bedroom. The homeowners have seen this problem for over a decade but it wasn't very frequent. Now the water was entering the home frequently, so they decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist Tom recommended installing a TripleSafe, IceGuard, and SaniDry into the basement to stop water from flooding it.
Our installation team began by chipping out a basin for our TripleSafe. After the concrete was removed, the team then dug down until they could fix the sump pump liner into the hole. The team then installed the sump and plumbed it out of the home. On the outside of the home, the team installed an IceGuard and a 10' drainage line. These will help get the water away from the foundation of the home and also prevent the system from backing up back into the basement. Next, the team installed the SaniDry near the sump pump and they then fed the discharge line from the SaniDry to the TripleSafe to collect the condense moisture.
