Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Entering Basement, Wakefield, MA
A homeowner in Wakefield, Massachusetts, had scheduled a sump pump cleaning with our service technician Branden. Branden arrived at the home and began cleaning the sump. The homeowner was talking to Branden about seeing water entering the basement from the bottom of the bulkhead door. Branden spoke to the homeowner about having WaterGuard installed in the area below the bulkhead door to collect any water that comes into the basement and then bring the water to the sump pump where it can be sent outside of the home.
Branden first finished the sump pump cleaning appointment and then scheduled another time to come back to the home and install the WaterGuard. Branden and Nick came out to the home about a week later to install 15' of WaterGuard from the sump pump to the bulkhead door. The team first chipped out the concrete and removed some dirt so they could fit the WaterGuard beneath the concrete slab. After the team fit the WaterGuard beneath the concrete the team then used crushed stone to hold the drainage in place. Next, the team tested the system to make sure it worked properly and then they mixed concrete and poured it over the WaterGuard to protect it.
