Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Entering Basement from Bulkhead, Stow, MA
A homeowner in Stow, Massachusetts, had lived in their home for the past 15 years. This past Christmas Eve 2022 they noticed water entering their basement near their bulkhead. They called EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist Justin looked over the basement and recommended replacing their old sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump.
Our team removed the old sump and then chipped out a larger basin for our bigger and better pump. After the team made the hole wider and deeper the team then installed the new Triple Safe liner. Once installed the team then followed the path of the plumbing of the old sump to the exterior of the home where we installed our exterior drainage line to carry the water 10' away from the home so the water doesn't reenter the basement. After the team finished plumbing the sump pump they poured crushed stone and a layer of concrete around the basin of the pump to make it level with the floor.
Old Sump Pump
The old sump pump couldn't keep up with the water entering the basement.
Bigger Hole for Sump Pump Liner
The team increased the size of the sump pit to fit our TripleSafe.
TripleSafe Installed
The team installed the TripleSafe and plumbed it to drain away from the home.
TripleSafe Lid
The lid of the TripleSafe leveled to the concrete.
